Region emissivity is used to compensate for surfaces with uniform emissivity. Emissivity tables are used to compensate for surfaces with emissivity variation between pixels.

A choice must be made to use either region emissivity correction or emissivity table correction, not both.  If an emissivity table is applies and also a region emissivity is set less than 1.00, the result will be a combined emissivity correction that will result in erroneously high measurements.
