 Emissivity Testing
The
best method to determine the correct emissivity value for a specific
material is to have OptoTherm test your samples. Please contact us
to discuss our emissivity testing services.
Send samples in the state and condition
in which you desire to measure them. If your sample has oil on it, for
example, do not clean it before sending it to us. If you are sending
powders or chemicals, please send the appropriate MSDS for those
materials. We cannot begin testing powders or chemicals until we
receive the corresponding MSDS. After testing, we will return chemicals
to you for disposal. Other samples will be discarded after testing
unless you request that they be sent back to you.
